Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Southwest Airlines is a major low-cost United States airline. The airline today flies to numerous destinations which includes some of the major cities such as Chicago, Washington, Las Vegas, Dallas, Mexico City etc. Customers making Southwest Airlines reservation have always praised the airline and its offered services. Both domestically and internationally the airline flies to 100 different destinations. The hub airport of the airline is Dallas Love Field, located 6 miles outside Dallas city. Also, recently the airline has announced that in winter 2020, it will commence its new route, from Denver and Steamboat Springs.

TRAVEL CLASS

Southwest Airlines offers its customers with two different classes, Economy and Business Class. As for now, the airline does not offer its passengers with Premium Economy and First class. Although, customers can easily book their tickets by calling Southwest Airlines Customer Care, and can choose the classes to fly with as per their convenience and comfort. The seats of the economy class range from 31-33-inch pitch and 17-17.8 inches wide with 2 inches of recline and adjustable headrests. The seats of its business class are same as its economy class.

BAGGAGE POLICY

The airlines allow its passengers with carry-on and checked baggage facilities. Passengers flying with the airlines can carry one item per person. It is important to ensure that the baggage is not exceeding the set limits of 10 x 16 x 24 inches (24 x 40 x 60cm). Apart from this, a passenger can also carry a personal item with them as well such as a handbag, rucksack, laptop or a briefcase. In checked baggage passengers are allowed to take two items or bags for free. It is important to ensure that the weight of these bags is not more than 50lb per piece and they are fitting within in the overall dimensions of 157 cm (62 inches).
