Sun Country Airlines is a very renowned low-cost and eleventh-largest airline in the United States of America headquartered in Minneapolis and launched its flight service and air operations in 1983 with a single Boeing 727-200 jetliner. The airline runs more than 80 domestic and international flights between some of the United States, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. This also relies on the cities of Oregon, Dallas / Fort Worth and Portland, and has begun to fly cargo flights to Amazon Air.

Fleet

Since around March 2020, the fleet of Sun Nation Airlines includes : ( 1 x Boeing 737-700 and 28 x Boeing 737-800, which is a total of 29 planes.

Class Of Travel

The only economy class of Sun Country Airlines has a comfortable travel environment and excellent customer service. Some of the seats in Sun country have USB and AC power outlets so that passengers can charge their personal devices. The airline also provides customers free beverages such as tea, coffee, water, fruits and fizzy drinks.

There have been three types of economic seats that travellers can select from; Best, Exit Row and Standard: Best Seats provide one free alcoholic cocktail, 150 percent more recline, 4 inches additional seat pitch and priority boarding. Exit Row Seats have a seat pitch of 9 inches higher, although not all travellers can select these seats under the FAA rules. Standard seats have a pitch of 29-30 inches.

In-Flight Entertainment

Sun Country Airlines provides on-the-flight entertainment through your personal devices. It is accessible for all airline flights as long as you have access to the AirFi network on board. However, this network is just for the entertainment system and not for the Internet. The entertainment system comprises videos, exhibits, games and songs. Check-In Online: Sun Country Airlines delivers online check-in for all planes. However, a non-US residency may only receive a boarding pass at the airport ticket booth. Ticket counters are open three hours prior to the actual planned scheduled departure.

Airport Check-in: Airport check-in begins 2 hours prior to departure and finishes 45 minutes prior to departure at U.S. airports. Check-in closes one hour prior departure for international airports.
